Funeral services for Mr. Danny Joe Loftis, 68, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016, at his residence. He was born October 12, 1947, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Beatrice Loftis. On August 31, 1968, he was married to Johnny Margaret Loftis, who survives. He worked in retail management, and served in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Harlin G. and Willie Loftis; and 1 Granddaughter: Lucy Lynn Loftis. Survivors include his Wife: Johnny Margaret Loftis of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Jason Loftis and Stephen Loftis, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Daughters: Lisa Loftis of Gainesboro, TN, and Jennifer Loftis of Murfreesboro, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
