Funeral services for Danny H. Strickland, 59, of Hartsville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 P.M. - 5 P.M., and Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born April 27, 1960, in Jackson County, TN. On June 5, 2004, he was married to Stephany Strickland, who survives. He worked in welding and fabrication. He was preceded in death by his Father: Loyd Walker; 1 Son: Michael Davidson; 2 Brothers: Loyd Robert Walker and Bill Walker; 1 Sister: Sandra Walker; and 1 Brother in Law: Steve Craighead. Survivors include his Wife: Stephany Strickland of Hartsville, TN; 2 Sons: Joshua Travis (Kelley) Strickland of Mt. Juliet, TN, and John Lee (Crystal) Hawkes of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Paige (Josh) Montgomery of Red Boiling Springs, TN; his Mother: Lois Walker of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Wyatt, Maggie, Faith, Paisley, Marley, Tallen, Emilee, Brooklynn, and Addisyn; 1 Sister: Teresa Craighead of Whitleyville, TN; and Special Aunt: Janet Pryor of Whitleyville, TN. Bro. Floyd Farris will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Richmond Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
