Daniel O. Thomas

Visitation and memorial services for Mr. Daniel O. Thomas, 78, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held from 6 P.M. - 9 P.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. The family has chosen cremation. He passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at his residence. He was born November 26, 1933, in New York City, NY, to the late Daniel O. Thomas, Sr. and Edna Menke Thomas. He was married to the late Frances "Bette" Thomas. He was a long time employee of American Airlines. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter Diane and his grandson Brendan Kelly. Survivors include his children, Linda Kelly (John), Daniel, Joyce McMurphy (Gregory), Steven (Linda), David (Peggi), his stepchildren, Carl "Chip" Zendler, Susan Brigio (Artie), Ruth Shugart (Calvin) and Nancy Zendler. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tonya Lopez (Rey), Keara Kelly, Brian & Caitlyn Thomas, Jennifer, Daniel & Dianna Brigio and Joe Owens.
