Funeral services for Mr. Dallas Lee Cartright, 78, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M., with Masonic service to follow, and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 31, 1938, in Louisville, KY, to the late Dale Cartright and Stella Cartright. On December 17, 1989, he was married to the late Diana Cartright, who passed away January 24, 2009. He was an assembly worker at General Motors, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church, and a past Master of Masonic Lodge #607, past patron of Eastern Star, and the U.A.W. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Great Granddaughter: Telina. Survivors include 3 Sons: Dale, David, and Mason; 1 Daughter: Michelle Johnson; 6 Grandchildren: Christine, Jessie, Larry, Danielle, Megon, and Dallas James; 4 Great Grandchildren: Juliet, Victoria, Braxton, and Elizabeth; and 1 Sister: Sandra Brown. Pastor Tim Dunavant will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maranatha House by contacting the funeral home.
