Funeral services for Dallas Carl Allen, 59, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born August 23, 1960, in Detroit, MI, to the late James Bruce Allen and Anna Ruth McDaniels Smith. He worked in carpentry and roofing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter: Mackenzie Allen; 1 Brother: James Edward Allen; and his Grandparents: Elmo Allen and Myrtle Allen, and Thelma Cole. Survivors include 2 Sons: James Allen and Michael Allen, both of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Christal Allen of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Madison, Raelee, Kaylee, Kylee, Kelsie, Jayton, Breanna, Chloe, and Calob Allen; 1 Great Grandchild: Emmet Allen; and 1 Sister: Deborah Sue Trentham of Sevierville, TN.
