Dakota Kendale Newberry

Dakota Kendale Newberry was born January 16, 2001, in Cookeville, TN and he passed away on June 1, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at the age of 23.  

He was the son of Mark Kendall Newberry and Amy Gail Meadows.  He was a factory worker.

Preceded in death by  Paternal Grandmother: Judy Hawkins, Paternal Great Grandparents: Vesper Newberry; Paternal Great Grandparents, Luke and Ruth Meadows; Maternal Great Grandparents Carl B. and Elise Allen and aunt Stephanie Newberry.

Survivors include his fiancée, Kaitlyn Boles of Gainesboro, daughter, Bentley Kendall Grace Newberry of Gainesboro;   parents, Mark Kendall Newberry of Glasgow, KY and Amy Gail Meadows of Bloomington Springs; Maternal Grandparents, Larry and Patricia Meadows of Bloomington Springs; Paternal Great Grandmother, Louise Crowder; Uncles, Jamie Meadows of Bloomington Springs and Steve Newberry of Red Boiling Springs; his dogs, Posie and Ozzy along with cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 4 to 8 pm and Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 10 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.  Funeral; services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 1 pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Lakelan Barham officiating.  Burial will follow in Robinson and Vickers Cemetery.
