Daffo Beatrice Scott

Funeral services for Mrs. Daffo Beatrice Scott, 86, of Rock Island, TN, and formerly of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in the New Hope community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Scott passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born October 10, 1922, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Binam and Velma Allen Lee. On March 3, 1975, she was married to the late James E. Scott. She was a homemaker and retired from Livingston Shirt Corp. She was a member of the Allen's Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Wanda Sue Boles; and 2 Brothers: Ezra Lee and Charlie R. "Greasy" Lee. Survivors include 1 Grandchild: Darrell L. Boles of McMinnville, TN; 1 Son-in-law: Rex Boles of McMinnville, TN; 1 Very Special Nephew: Edwin Lee of Hilham, TN; and 1 Sister: Lucille (John) Smith of Donaldson, TN.
