Cynthia Keys Kenneda Gentry was born October 17, 1955 in Burlington, Kansas and she passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at her residence in Cookeville at the age of 68.
She was the daughter of Charles Edward Keys and Betty Joan Archer Keys. She was a restaurant worker and a member of Brindleys Chapel Church of God in Cookeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Randall Gentry.
Survived by her sons, Sonny Raymond Gentry, Jason Gentry, Zachary Gentry, Jonathan Gentry, and Joshua Gentry; step-sons, Ricky Gentry and Tony Gentry; daughters. Towana Gentry, Misty Street, Shamey Thompson, and Julia Gentry Haney; step-daughters, Annette Ellis and Jeanette Benitez; brothers, Monty Keys, Michael Keys and Larry Crumb; sister, Vanessa Morris; 47 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren along with other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm and again on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Ayers officiating.
