Curtis Wayne Roland

Curtis Wayne Roland was born May 27, 1940, in Lincoln County, TN, and he passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 82.

He was the son of the late Curtis Cullum Roland and Della Wilma Posey Roland. He was married to the late Paricia Roland, who passed away March 28, 1993. He worked as a bus driver, and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his Son: Bryan E. Roland; and Sister: Brenda Parker.

Survivors include 3 Sons: John J. (Tondia) Roland of Gainesboro, TN, Curtis P. (Margie) Roland of Detroit, MI, and John C. (Alyssa) Roland of Baxter, TN; Daughter: Dolores E. Sarasin of Detroit, MI; Brother: Randy Roland of the Nameless community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Sisters: Judy Hill of Flat Rock MI, and Freida Hager of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Paricia, Stephani, Beth, Phillip, Jamie, Sean, Mikey, Shannon, Amado; and several Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Randy Heady officiating. Burial will follow in the Curry’s Chapel Cemetery in Bloomington Springs, TN. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
