Graveside services for Mr. Curtis J. Head, 84, of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and on Saturday at 2 P.M. at the cemetery. He passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 19, 1934, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Quarles and Mae Head. He was married for 60 years to Frances M. Head, who survives. He was an electrician, and loved to coon hunt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Louise Spivey. He is survived by his Wife: Frances M. Head of Jackson County, TN; 2 Sons: Tony Curtis Head and wife, Margaret of Chestnut Mound, TN and Randy Head and wife, Lori of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Travis (Beth) Head, Ashley (Joseph) Lynch, Beth White, Bryan Smith, and Rachel Smith; 5 Great Grandchildren: Kylee Ray, Ellie Head, Bryson Smith, William Lynch, and Ella Sanders; 4 Brothers: Joe Head, Edis Head, Dwayne Head, and Willard Head all of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Ruby Trisdale and Judy McDowell both of Gainesboro, TN.
