Coy Ragland

Funeral services for Mr. Coy Ragland, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, February 18, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Vinson Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 - 9 P.M., Friday from 2 - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Ragland passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was born March 22, 1934, in Jackson County to the late Herbert Watson & Fronia Ann Vinson Ragland. He was married to Faye Spivey Ragland, who survives. Mr. Ragland was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Ezell Ragland and Larry M. Ragland; and 1 Step-Son: Bill Walker. Survivors include His wife: Faye Spivey Ragland of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Michael & Lisa Ragland of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Dusty and Lacy Ragland of Gainesboro, TN ; 1 Step-Daughter: Linda Jackson of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Step-Grandchildren: Joey Wade, Dana Robinson, Scott Wade, and Kelli Walker; 6 Step Great- Grandchildren: Daniel and Tiffany Robinson, Hope and Olivia Wade, Peyton Barlow, and Gracie Walker; 4 Brothers and 5 Sisters-in-Law: Haskell & Betty Ragland, Ted & M.B. Ragland, Ralph & Judy Ragland, Donnie & Sandy Ragland, all of Gainesboro, TN; and Sue Messick of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Brother-in-Law: Dwight Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Mary Rush of Gainesboro, TN, and Moydene Robinson of East Pointe, MI. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Bro. Lance Reynolds and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
