Cora Haney Loftis

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Haney Loftis, 73, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Loftis passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born June 25, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Troy B. and Lina Mayberry Haney. On June 19, 1953, she was married to Joe R. Loftis, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Sons: Randolph Loftis, and infants Rickie and Donnie Loftis; 1 Grandchild: Mitchell Grover; 2 Brothers: K.B. Haney and Troy Haney, Jr.; and 1 Sister: Vena Cantrell. Survivors include her Husband: Joe R. Loftis of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Tim (Terri) Loftis of Carthage, TN, and Stephen (Tricia) Loftis of Cookeville, TN; 3 Daughters: Patricia (Thomas) Parks of Cookeville, TN, Pam (Victor) Svolto of Deltona, FL, and Kathy (Carl, Jr.) Grover of Decatur, AL; 1 Brother: Charles (Sherry) Haney of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sisters: Marie Johnson and M.B. (Ted) Ragland, all of Gainesboro, TN, and I.V. (Louis) Byers of Cookeville, TN; 12 Grandchildren: Apryl Hall, Robby Parks, Jason Loftis, Ryan Svolto, Joseph Svolto, Marshall Grover, Jada Padgett, Mackenzie Grover, Brooklyn Loftis, Cruz Loftis, Blaine Loftis, and Carson Loftis; and 6 Great-Grandchildren: Isabella, Adriana, and Logan Svolto, Haley Parks, Tucker Padgett, and Katherine Hall.
