Clyo Bowman Craighead

Graveside services for Mrs. Clyo Bowman Craighead, 87, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. She passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at NHC Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born August 8, 1923, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Richard Milton "Dink" Bowman and Emma Jane Bowman. She was married to the late Garrett Craighead, who passed away April 23, 1985. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of the Dudneys Hill Church of Christ, and attended Collegeside Church of Christ in Cookeville, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 7 Brothers and 6 Sisters. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Jane Craighead Sadler of Cookeville, TN; 1 Son-in-Law: Edwin Sadler of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Sonja (Billy) House of Smithville, TN, Brett (Krystyn) Sadler of Nashville, TN, Bryan Sadler of Cookeville, TN, and Blake Sadler of Cookeville, TN; Special Nieces: Ruth Jones, Lois Haney, and Katherine Austin McDonald; and a Special Nephew: Claude Bowman.
