Clemma Long

Funeral services for Mrs. Clemma Long, 86, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Long passed away on Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born October 1, 1920, in Overton County, TN, to the late J.L. Hall and Susie Greenwood Hall. On November 1, 1943, she was married to the late John C. Long, who passed away January 20, 1988. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ for over 50 years. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: John Wayne and Carolyn Martin Long; and 1 Brother: Jesse Hall. Survivors include 2 Daughters and 1 Son-in-Law: Nancy and Tom Lackey of Gainesboro, TN, and Janice Allison of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Lisa (Kenny) Bowman, Jennifer (Will) Austin, Jeffrey (Amy) Allison, and James Wayne (Elizabeth) Allison; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Lindsey Bowman, Gabrille Bowman, Dillon Bowman, Aksel Allison, and Zeb Allison; 1 Brother: Cecil Hall of Nashville, TN; 2 Sisters: Clara Sidwell of Livingston, TN, and Ina Stevens of Livingston, TN; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Lillie Spivey Davis of Dayton, Ohio. Bro. Dan Huffines and Bro. O'Neal Huffines will officiate at the services.
