Funeral services for Mrs. Clella B. Martin Heady, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 1 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at her residence. She was born March 20, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Cordell Thornton and Hattie Medlin Thornton. She was married to Kenneth Heady, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Billy Herman Martin; 1 Brother: Charles Thornton; and 1 Sister: Elizabeth Bernettia Thornton. Survivors include her Husband: Kenneth Heady of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Donnie (Jennie Renee) Martin and David (Donna) Martin, all of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Step-Sons: Kenneth Ray Heady and Alan Glen Heady, both of Gainesboro, TN, and Harlan Thomas (Amber) Heady of La Vergne, TN; 10 Grandchildren: Dylan Martin, Dalton Martin, Meleah Martin, Meagan Shepard, Brandon Ray Heady, Tyler Heady, Brittany Heady, Zachary Heady, Kara Heady, and Courtney Heady; 2 Great Grandchildren: Richard Joseph Shepard V and Liam Alexander Montez; and 2 Sisters: Ann Burris of Gainesboro, TN, and Linda Sparks of Bloomington, IN.
