Claude R. Bowman

Claude R. Bowman, 77, of Cookeville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at his residence. Private graveside services and interment will be held at a later date in the Cookeville City Cemetery. He was born September 20, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim Joe Bowman and Bessie Huff Bowman. On December 31, 1976, he was married to Bettye Chaffin Bowman, who survives. He was retired from Fixture World. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Step Son: Gregory Goolsby; 1 Brother: Tom Joe Bowman; and 1 Sister: Betty Jane Rogers. Survivors include his Wife: Bettye Chaffin Bowman of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Connie Bowman (Glynn) Warden and Shelia Bowman (Jeff) Collins, both of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Step Children: Tammy Goolsby and Michael (Julie) Goolsby, both of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Kasey (Joe) Grounds, Kayla (Chris) Cantrell, Caroline (Dalton) Fish, and Claudia Warden, all of Gainesboro, TN; Step Grandchildren: Sawyer Hudson, Gracie Hudson, and Anna Hudson, all of Livingston, TN, Mary Michael Goolsby, Lindsey Grace Goolsby, and Griffin Goolsby, all of Cookeville, TN; and Great Grandchildren: Kennedy Belle Quinn, Delia Roe Cantrell, Easton Hammons, and future Baby Boy Cantrell.
