Clarence "Preacher" Heady,

Funeral services for Mr. Clarence "Preacher" Heady, Jr., 74, of Lebanon, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Heady passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at his residence in Lebanon, TN. He was born April 24, 1934, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Clarence Herman and Hazel Lee Heady. On November 21, 1954, he was married to Betty K. Heady, who survives. He was a machine operator and attended the Faith Chapel Church at Buffalo Valley, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: James Heady and Eddie Lee Heady; and 3 Sisters: Dorothy Rush, Mable Smith and Lucille Fox. Survivors include his Wife: Betty K. Heady of Lebanon, TN; 2 Sons and Daughters-in-law: Morgan Dale & Tammy Heady of Chestnut Mound, TN, and Michael Wayne & Cindy Heady of Portland, TN; 3 Brothers: Kenneth (Clella) Heady of Gainesboro, TN, Sammy Raggio "Sam" (Judy) Heady of Gainesboro, TN and Mark & Karol Heady of Colorado; 1 Sister: Barbara (Mitchell) Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 11 Grandchildren; and 16 Great Grandchildren.
