Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Tennie "Tootsie" Anderson, 92, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born October 18, 1925, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Harrison Haney and Ida Belle Haney. She was married to the late Claude Anderson. She was a retired employee of Washington Mfg., and a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Walter Owen Anderson; 2 Sisters: Maxie Stafford and Vallie Whitaker; and 2 Brothers: Charles Haney and Harlen Haney. Survivors include 1 Son: Dale (Celia) Smith of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Marsha Claudette Elliott of Gahanna, OH; 10 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren. Bro. O'Neal Huffines and Bro.
