Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Jean Bean Way, 86, of Bloomington Springs, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Union Hill - Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and again on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Edgbert Bean and Cora Belle Putty Bean. She worked at Wilson' s Sporting Goods where she was a seamstress, and was the owner of Way's Custom Shop. She was a member of the Sycamore Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her First Husband: Litton C. Way; her Husband of 45 years: Jim "Von" Way; 1 Brother: Truman Bean; 5 Sisters: Pauline Brown, Anna Jackson, Lillian Phillips, Marie Eckel, and Francis Buckner; and 1 Niece: Joyce Hanaway. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Joy (Gary) Fox of Bloomington Springs, TN, and Anita (Danny) Nichols of Cookeville, TN; 3 Step Sons: Kim (Sandra) Way of Cookeville, TN, Kerry (Gethyn) Way of Munising, MI, and Kevin (Lisa) Way of Midland, MI; 1 Step Daughter: Brenda (Fred) Bratumil of Novi, MI; 13 Grandchildren: Bryann, Heather, Rachel, Daniel, Jamie, Heidi, Rebecca, Molly, Kyle, Trent, Ambre, Katie, and Amy; several Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Wanda Frizzell and Estelle (Paul) Pippin, all of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother in Law: Coy Buckner; 2 Nieces: Pat Damron of Ohio and Regina Buckner of Monterey, TN; and 2 Nephews: Patrick and Phillip Pippin, both of Cookeville, TN.
