C.J. Mabery

Funeral services for Mr. C.J. Mabery, 82, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at the Center Grove Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 P.M. until 9 P.M., and on Thursday at the Center Grove Church of Christ from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born February 10, 1928, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jeff Mayberry and Polly Martin Mayberry. He was married to Catherine Haney Mabery, who survives. He was a retired factory worker, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife: Barbara Jean Gale Mabery, who passed away December 20, 1991; 1 Daughter: Frances Dee Mabery; 1 Brother: Ewin Maberry; and 3 Sisters: Ethel Flatt, Aline Flatt, and Zora Flatt. Survivors include his Wife: Catherine Haney Mabery of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: John (Barbara) Mabery of Gainesboro, TN, and Kenneth (Cindy) Mabery of Cookeville, TN; 3 Daughters: Brenda (Don) Meredith, Sandy (Bobby) Haney, and Jo Ann (Cordell) Ledbetter, all of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Cheryl Flatt, Theresa Fox, Stacy Potter, Brian Haney, Sheila Clouse, Chris Mabery, Amanda Jenkins, Dawn Meredith, and Cody Mabery; and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
