Funeral services for Christine Brewer, 72, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, February 25, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery in Hilham, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at WyndRidge Health and Rehab Center in Crossville, TN. She was born November 27, 1946, in Jackson County, TN, to Vula Hummel and the late Roy H. Daniels. She was married to the late J.C. Brewer, who passed away March 15, 1996. She was a homemaker and caretaker, and was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to her husband and father, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Carolyn Sue Norris; 1 Brother: Lonnie Daniels; her Partner: J.B. Brown; 1 Nephew: Loyd Daniels; and 2 Step-Sons: Chris Brewer and Lonnie and Carol Lee Brown. Survivors include 1 Son: James Charles Brewer of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Melissa Estep of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Tyler and Cailyn Estep of Gainesboro, TN; Son-in-Law: Kenneth Estep of Gainesboro, TN; her Mother: Vula Daniels Hummel of Watertown, TN; 2 Brothers: Melvin and Judy Daniels and Floyd Daniels, all of Watertown, TN; and several Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
