Memorial services for Mrs. Charlotte Moore Cody, 57, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 7 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1960, in Murphysboro, IL, to Bill and Mary Martin. On November 23, 2103, she was married to Chip Cody, who survives. She was a clerical worker, and enjoyed organizing the annual Eaton Christmas toy drive. She enjoyed volunteering in other community efforts, loved the beach, and wants to wish everyone one more time ROLL TIDE! She was preceded in death by a Special Great Niece: Makenzie Johnson. Survivors include her Husband: Chip Cody of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Damon Moore of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Julie Cody of Ridge Farm, IL; her Parents: Bill and Mary Martin of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Taylor Cody, Blake Shaw, Jack Cody, and Kinley Moore; 3 Brothers: Chris (Tina) Martin of Iola, KS, Jim (Carmel) Martin of Haleyville, AL, and Mark (Carrie) Martin of Crossville, TN; 1 Sister: Angela (Rick) Hardesty of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Daughter-in-Law: Marquita Kita Moore. Several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Memorial donations may be made to the Cookeville Rescue Mission or local toy drive.
