Charlie Anderson Reece

Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Anderson Reece, 81, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 12, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 11 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Reece passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005, at his residence. He was born October 31, 1923, in Jackson County to the late Robert Reece & Mary Keith Reece. In September, 1942, he was married to the late Clara Frances Meadows Reece, who passed away on December 16, 1997. Mr. Reece was a construction worker and farmer. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Daughters: Wanda Joyce Reece & Kathy Breeding; 3 Sisters; and 4 Brothers. Survivors include 2 Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Jimmy & Lora Jean Reece of Rickman, TN, and Joe & Marie Reece of Granville, TN; 2 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Pamela Sue Breeding of Gainesboro, TN, Mildred & Mike Shepherd of Cookeville, TN, and James Breeding of Gainesboro, TN; 11 Grandchildren: Amanda Burgess, Tammy Cherry, Sandy Meadows, Shelle Greeson, Tim Jackson, Tanya Hamlet, Christy Carroll, Phillip Shepherd, Tessa Shepherd, Elizabeth Shepherd, & Joshua Breeding; and 12 Great-Grandchildren: Ciara and Parker Burgess, Bennett Greeson, Michael Carroll, Brittany Carroll, Angel Carroll, Carmia Carroll, Steven Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Devon Tyler Cherry, & Jed Meadows.
