Funeral services for Mr. Charles "Chuck" Wayne Albea, 78, of the Double Springs community of Putnam County, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 15, 1937, in Piedmont, AL, to the late George Raymond Albea and Josephine Alma Albea. On July 24, 1970, he was married to Bonnie Warden Albea, who survives. He was a plant superintendent at Precision Steel Corp. of Franklin Park, IL. He was a member of the Whitleyville Church of Christ, and served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Gary Ray Albea. Survivors include his Wife: Bonnie Warden Albea of Cookeville, TN; 1 Son: Don (Kim) Young of Crystal Lake, IL; 3 Grandchildren: Kasey (Jonathan) Askew and Amanda Young of Birmingham, AL, and Justin Young of IL; 4 Great Grandchildren: Lily, Samantha, Sofia, and Riley; 2 Sisters: Janice (Benny) Kelly and Charlotte Hughes of Piedmont, AL; and 1 Aunt: Evelyn Holbrooks. Several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends also survive. Bro. Tom Bilbrey and Bro. David Langhan will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Putnam County Humane Society by contacting the funeral home. Pallbearers: Ed Warden, Billy Warden, Art Warden, Ted Warden, Glynn Warden, and Justin Young.
