Funeral services for Mr. Charles Ward Scott, 82, of the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 P.M. - 6 P.M., and Wednesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at his residence. He was born February 9, 1937, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Charlie Frank Scott and Maxine Kinnard Henson. He was married to Jennie Scott, who survives. He worked as a machinist at Aeroquip - Eaton, and was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: James E. Scott; and 1 Daughter: Angelia Scott. Survivors include his Wife: Jennie Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Ronnie (Amanda) Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Logan Macklin and Iris Macklin; 2 Step Children: Lisa Rivera and Davenna Weathers, both of CA; 1 Brother: Billy Ray (Elsie) Scott of GA; and 1 Sister: Janet (Gary) Burton of Gainesboro, TN.
