Charles R. Henson

Funeral services for Mr. Charles R. Henson, 82, of Baxter, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Henson passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born June 26, 1926, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Benton and Lula Jane Henson. On January 30, 1960, he was married to Frances C. Henson, who survives. He was a die caster at Chrysler and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Sisters: Dorothy, Ruth, and Elizabeth. Survivors include his Wife: Frances C. Henson of Baxter, TN; and 1 Son: Charles B. "Chuck" Henson of Cookeville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Raymond Hensley will officiate at the services.
