Charles Lee Morse

Charles Lee Morse, 77, of Gainesboro, TN, passed away September 12, 2018. He was born in the south Texas oil town of Freer on May 16, 1941. Following completion of service with the U.S. Navy, he worked for the State of California as a health care professional. An avid fisherman and baseball fan, Charles coached Little League Baseball for 30 plus years as a volunteer in the communities where he lived. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, after 57 years of marriage; his parents: B.A. Morse and Mary C. Morse; 3 sisters: Vee, Peggy, and Elva; and 2 brothers: Bert and Bill Morse. Surviving relatives include 6 children: Karen, Charles Jr., Mary, Lyne, David, and Bailey Morse; 1 brother: Jerry Morse; and many grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery in Mountain Pine, Arkansas.
