Funeral services for Mr. Charles Law Hix, 81, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born August 11, 1930, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Luke C. Hix and Daffo Law Hix. On June 5, 1964, he was married to the late Jamie Chaffin Hix, who passed away January 29, 2009. He was a plumber and electrician, and a member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: James Richard Hix; and 1 Daughter: Evelyn Carol Mayberry. Survivors include 2 Grandchildren: Savanna Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN, and Wesley Mayberry of Lebanon, TN; and 1 Son-in-Law: Donnie Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN. Bro. O'Neal Huffines, Bro.
