Charles "Hoss" Jared

Graveside services for Charles “Hoss” Jared, 80, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at 2 P.M. at the Hughes Cemetery in the Gentry community of Putnam County, TN. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. He passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 18, 1940, in Putnam County, TN, to the late Ernest Jared and Velma Jared. He was a farmer, and loved to draw and fish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Alvin L. Jared and Robert “Chick” Jared; and 1 Sister: Ida Lucille Kessler. Survivors include 1 Brother: Melvin (Sue) Jared of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Evelyn Jean (Robert) Vinson of Baxter, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Mike Fox will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hughes Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
