Charles Frizzell

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Hubert (Hub) Frizzell, 90, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 P. M. - 9 P.M., Friday from 9 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Frizzell passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at his residence. He was born December 15, 1916, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Crockett and Ova Wheeler Frizzell. On June 13, 1936, he was married to the late Frances Gipson Frizzell, who passed away December 27, 1994. He was a farmer and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Aubrey Frizzell, Gilbert (Dick) Frizzell, and Hershel Smith (Mug) Frizzell; 1 Sister: Gertrude Ellis; 2 Grandchildren: Gary Ellis and Angela Jones; and 1 Great- Grandchild: Heather Robinson. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Tom and Sylvia Frizzell of Nashville, TN; 6 Daughters and 5 Sons-in- Law: Virginia Stafford, Sue & Melvin Jared, Katherine & Larry Jones, and Ann & Omer Wylie, all of Gainesboro, TN, Linda & Joe Lynn of the Willette community of Macon County, and Thelma & Dennis Strong of Cookeville, TN; 1 Brother: John Frizzell of Nashville, TN; 1 Sister: Jewell Hopkins of Gainesboro, TN; 20 Grandchildren; 35 Great-Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Jack Honeycutt will officiate at the services.
