Charles Edward Meadows

Funeral services for Mr. Charles "Bay" Edward Meadows, 66, of Baxter, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born September 23, 1951, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Dent Meadows and Ollie Meadows. He was an auto mechanic, and loved working on cars and playing with his grandkids. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Autumn Rain; 4 Brothers: Mitchell, James, Tommy, and William Meadows; and 3 Sisters: Dora Lou Pippin, Notie Stafford, and Betty Jean Brown. Survivors include 1 Son: Charles Dent Meadows of Baxter, TN; 1 Daughter: Amanda Meadows Thomas of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Jr. Meadows of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sisters: Evelyn Maynard of Cookeville, TN, Ruby Manier of Cookeville, TN, and Frances Meadows of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren; and a Special Nephew that he considered a son: Tom (Beth) Brown of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
