Catherine Hooks Bull

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Hooks Bull, 61, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, July 31, at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County. The family will r eceive friends on Sunday from 11 A.M. - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Bull passed away on Friday, July 28, 2006, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born April 6, 1945, in Overton County to the late Grover Hooks & Virgie Dickerson Hooks. On November 24, 1986, she was married to Danny Bull, who survives. Mrs. Bull was a press operator at Crotty, a member of the House of Faith, and a member of the Red Hat Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Brothers: Charles Jr. Hooks, Claude Hooks, and 3 Infant Brothers. Survivors include her husband: Danny Bull of the Burristown community of Jackson County; 3 Sons and 1 Daughter-in-Law: Billy Greenwood of Wartburg, TN, Bobby Greenwood & wife Rita of Rickman, TN, and Randy Greenwood of Cookeville, TN; her mother-in-law: Nell Bull of the Burristown community of Jackson County; 5 Grandchildren: Jennifer Ledbetter, Kathy Greenwood, Michael Greenwood, Jada Greenwood, and Shevon Turner; 1 Special Grandchild: Tabitha Stone of Cannon County, TN; 3 Brothers: Earl Hooks and Burr Hooks, both of Livingston, TN, and Willie "Buck" Hooks of Cookeville, TN; and 2 Sisters and 1 Brother-in-Law: Nadine Brown and Betty & Cecil Barlow, all of Rickman, TN.
