Carolyne Vigeant Venable

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyne Ann Vigeant Venable, 66, of Whitleyville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born September 7, 1943, in Worchester, MA, to the late Gaston Elie Vigeant and Eva LaBrie Vigeant. On May 5, 2001, she was married to Thomas G. Venable, who survives. She was a retired executive secretary at the Tennessee Tech University Foreign Language Department. She was a member of the Heavenly Host Lutheran Church in Cookeville, TN, and a volunteer at the Granville Senior Center in Granville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Jacqueline Toth; and 1 Son: Brian Parks. Survivors include her Husband: Thomas G. Venable of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Son: Michael (Suzi) Vigeant of Whitleyville, TN; 1 Daughter: Karen Ann (Patrick) Pena of Virginia Beach, VA; 5 Grandchildren: Chad, Ciarrah, Amanda, Cote, and Lance; 1 Brother: Paul Vigeant of Bloomfield Hills, MI; and 1 Sister: Pauline Pederson of Basalt, Colorado.
