Carol S. Shealy

Funeral services for Mrs. Carol S. Shealy, 76, of Nashville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Gainesboro, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Shealy passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born August 16, 1931, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late John Henry and Clifford Anne Cassetty Sadler. She was married to the late Pat Shealy. She was a secretary for the Tennessee State Department of Revenue, and a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Kathy Smith; 2 Brothers: Henry Lee and Ben Fowler Sadler; and 1 Sister-in-Law: Jean Sadler. Survivors include 2 Sons: Jack Smith and Fred Smith, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Kaye Smith Mathis of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: James Herman (Jamie) Smith, Jacquie Flynn, Beaureguard Smith, and Jessica Williams; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Corey, McKenzie, and Alexxis Flynn; and 1 Sister and Brother-in-Law: Betty and Russell McCoin of Garden City, MI.
