Carlon (Wod) Kinnaird, 79, of Jackson County, passed from this life on August 22, 2019, while at Signature Health Care in Algood. Mr. Kinnaird was born in Jackson County to the late Thurman and Lavada Judd Kinnaird. He served during the Vietnam War, where he was an ambulance driver at the Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, GA. Mr. Kinnaird retired from General Motors then returned home where he worked for many years as a security guard at the Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Zion Church of Christ. Mr. Kinnaird was preceded in death by his parents in addition to two brothers: Dawson and Charles; and three sisters: Juanita Palk, Frances Ramsey, and Peggy Sparks. He is survived by an uncle: James Kinnaird of Cookeville; sisters: Anna Ruth Bean of Dayton, OH, and Margaret (Ralph) Chaffin and Deanie (Dale) Bowman, all of Cookeville; brothers: Ralph (Maureen) Kinnaird of Flowood, MS, and David (Patsy) Kinnaird; sister-in-law: Helen Kinnaird; and brother-in-law: Lester Sparks all of Cookeville, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
