Funeral services for Mr. Bryan Tayse 78, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Granville Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born February 9, 1935 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Marlin and Mary Tayse. He was married to the late Betty Means Tayse, who passed away November 13, 2000. He worked as a custodian at TTU and was a farmer. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 Granddaughter: Hannah Bartholomew; and 2 Sisters: Mae Hamlett and Joe Morgan. Survivors include 2 Sons: Tim Tayse and wife, Brenda of Gainesboro, TN and Troy Tayse and wife, Rachel of Cookeville TN; 1 Daughter: Shawna and husband, Donny Bartholomew of Celina, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Autumn Tayse and Austin Tayse; 5 Step-Grandchildren: Heather Wood, Mary Durflinger, Josh Collier, Haley McCulley, and David King; 1 Sister: Nell Guess of Granville, TN ; and Special Friend: Sam Worthington of Gainesboro, TN.
