Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda K. Hampton-Golden, 60, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born January 28, 1951, in West Frankfort, IL, to Henry Hampton and the late Leatrice Southard Hampton. On December 1, 1995, she was married to Daniel Golden, who survives. She was a caretaker in the healthcare industry, and of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include her Husband: Daniel Golden of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 Son: Robert Bankston of DeKalb, IL; 2 Daughters: Yvonne Jones of Rockford, IL, and Ellen Cowles of Sycamore, IL; her Father: Henry Hampton of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Wende Spivey of Gainesboro, TN, and Debra Neilsen of Cary, IL; and 6 Grandchildren.
