Brenda Joyce Stafford

Graveside services for Mrs. Brenda Joyce Stafford, 72, of Old Hickory, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time to leave for the cemetery. She passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at her residence. She was born August 28, 1946, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Averett Stafford and Hazel Stafford. On September 27, 1968, she was married to the late P.J. "Pete" Stafford, who passed away December 1, 2012. She worked as a courtesy attendant in residential housing, and attended the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Step-Son: Timmy Lee Stafford; 2 Brothers: Eddie Stafford and Bill Stafford; 2 Sisters: Mable Stafford and Faye Reeves; and 1 Nephew: Roger Neal Stafford. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Lisa (Andy) Alderidge of Old Hickory, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Katelyn Alderidge and Beth (L.B.) Stringfellow; 2 Great Grandchildren: Elizabeth Stringfellow and Leslie Grace Stringfellow; 1 Nephew: Eddie Drenner and wife, Colleen; and 2 Great Nieces. Several friends and cousins also survive.
