Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Jean Meredith, 70, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 7 P.M. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Life Care Center of Sparta. She was born February 4, 1948, in Detroit, MI, to the late C.J. Mabery and Barbara Jean Gale Mabery. She was married to Don Meredith, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Jo Ann Ledbetter and Frances Dee Mabery. Survivors include her Husband: Don Meredith of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Cheryl Flatt of Gainesboro, TN, and Dawn Meredith and Jessica Eaton of Sparta, TN; 3 Stepchildren: Chris Meredith of Cookeville, TN, Cory Meredith of Cookeville, TN, and Carrie Sumnik of MI; 11 Grandchildren: Brooklyn Burris, Cheyenne Collier, Austin Winningham, Janelle Michels, Elizabeth Sumnik, Alexandra Sumnik, Nicholas Sumnik, Iggy Sumnik, Donna Meredith, Caelon Eaton, and Calie Eaton; 2 Great Grandchildren: Briella Hix and Silas Hix; 2 Brothers: John (Barbara) Mabery of Gainesboro, TN, and Kenneth (Cindy) Mabery of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Sister: Sandy Haney of Gainesboro, TN.
