Funeral services for Brenda J. Parker, 69, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Powell, TN. She was born September 6, 1949, in Fayetteville, TN, to the late Curtis Roland and Della Wilma Thompson. She was married the late Oliver "Bucky" Parker. She owned a cleaning and janitorial service, and attended Life Church in Cookeville, TN. Survivors include 1 Son: Oliver "Buddy" Parker of Cookeville, TN; 3 Daughters: Della Conn of Gainesboro, TN, Misty Parker of Cookeville, TN, and Tamika Parker of Cookeville, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Jeffrey Conn, Devin, Haley, Antonio, Makayla (Will) Ripley, O'Ryan and Gavin Parker; 2 Brothers: Curtis Roland of Gainesboro, TN, and Randy Roland and wife, Beverly of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Judy Hill of MI, and Freda Hager of Gainesboro, TN.
