Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Caroline Morris, 67, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Monday, July 12, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born March 19, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James M. Smith and Nettie Lee Smith. She was a factory worker at Crotty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Herschel G. Morris; 1 Son: James Fields; and 1 Brother: Curtis A. Smith. Survivors include 2 Sons: Hurschal Morris, Jr. and Shane Morris both of Cookeville, TN; 3 Daughters: Genedith Deebanks of Cookeville, TN; Shawn McPherson of Jackson County, TN, and Shanna Morris of Cookeville, TN; and 3 Brothers: Richard Donald Smith and Rodney Smith, both of Jackson County, TN; and Douglas Randall Smith of Dayton, OH. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
