Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Lee Huffines, 84, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, June 17, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Draper Cemetery in the Wartrace community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from noon until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, June 14 at the Riverchase Nursing Center in Gautier, Mississippi. She was born March 3, 1927, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Raymond and Avo Long Jenkins. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Channie Huffines; 1 Son: Rickie Wayne Huffines; 1 Brother: Willie Lovell Jenkins; 1 Sister: Pauline Kernell; and 1 Grandchild: Joe Jenkins. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Carolyn Faye and husband, Jeff Champion of Mt. Juliet, TN; Linda Sue and husband, Will Kirkland of Gautier, MS; 1 Granddaughter: Cindy and husband, Greg Sistrunk of Philadelphia, MS; 2 Grandsons: James David Murphy of Mt. Juliet, TN; and Anthony Douglas Murphy of Orlando, FL; 1 Great-granddaughter: Morgan Cumberland of Philadelphia, MS; and 1 Brother: Earl Jenkins of Gainesboro, TN. Bro.
