Bonnie E. Witcher

Funeral services for Miss Bonnie E. Witcher, age 87, a resident of White House, Tennessee, and formerly of the Haydenburg community of Jackson County, will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at 1 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Miss Witcher passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at Alive Hospice - Skyline Madison Campus in Madison, TN. She was born November 20, 1920, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Clarence and Hattie Spivey Witcher. She was a retired employee of Clover Bottom Development Center and a long-time caregiver. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Haydenburg community of Jackson County and also attended the Slaters Methodist Church in Millersville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Ray Witcher; and 2 Brothers-in-law: Frank Hicks and Jack Wallace. Survivors include 4 Sisters: Merline Hicks of Goodlettsville, TN; Claudine Wallace of Nashville, TN; Edith Williams of Goodlettsville, TN, and Lovie Stauffer of Florida.Several nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.
