Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Mayberry Dixon Jones, 88, of Pleasant Shade, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, August 24, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Jones passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at her residence. She was born January 23, 1921, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Frank and Lula Heady Mayberry. She was married to the late Howard Dixon. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 Sons: Joe Freeman Dixon, Howard Dixon, Jr., Hubert Dixon, Earl Dixon, and Georgie Dixon; 1 Grandchild: John Dixon; 5 Brothers: Taft, Willard, Morgan, Lovell, and Joy Mayberry; and 2 Sisters: Myrtle Allen and Lila Tayse. Survivors include 3 Daughters: Anna Jean Coffee of Whitleyville, TN, Rosa Mae Betker of Indianapolis, IN, and Sue Morgan of Pleasant Shade, TN; 1 Brother: Robert Mayberry of Baxter, TN; 1 Special Granddaughter: Amanda Morgan; 2 Special Great-Grandchildren: Gavin and Justice Morgan; 17 Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren; & 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
