Funeral services for Bonnie Helen Bull Cook Burton, 65, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, November 29, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 P.M. - 8 P. M., and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at her residence. She was born March 12, 1948, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Asa Arthur Bull and Evia Nell Flynn Bull. On February 18, 1972, she was married to Charlie Burton, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Poston Chapel Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Charles Bull; and 3 Sisters: Myra Sue Spivey, Freda Gail Hensley, and Barbara Webb. Survivors include her Husband: Charlie Burton of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: James Edward Cook of Cookeville, TN and best friend, Robert Rogers, and Timmy Dwaine Burton and wife, Misty, of Bloomington Springs, TN; 2 Daughters: Peggy Cook Schopieray of Cookeville, TN, and Janet Lynn Hamby and husband, Will, of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren: James Wesley (Brittany) Eldridge, Breeanna Nicole Eldridge, Nate Eldridge, Corey Hamby, Justin Hamby, Hannah Hamby, Austin Blake Burton, and Chrissy Burton; 2 Honorary Grandchildren: Neon Staggs and Terilyn Locke Allen; 3 Brothers: Danny Bull of Gainesboro, TN, Donnie Bull of Hilham, TN, and Ronnie Bull of Livingston, TN; 1 Sister: Betty Lacy of Livingston, TN; and Special Friend: Cheyenne. Bro. Bobby Scantland will officiate at the services. The Red Hats Society will serve as honorary pallbearers. Special thanks to Caris Hospice for their care and concern, Natasha, April, Lisa, Amanda, and Dana.
