Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Anderson Forkum, 89, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born February 7, 1930, to the late James Bedford Anderson and Lola B. Loftis Anderson. On June 30, 1956, she was married to the late Shelby W. Forkum, who passed away December 30, 2018. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Herman, Elbert, and Fred Anderson; and 3 Sisters: Doyle Anderson, Virdia Spurlock, and Dona L. Anderson. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Denise (Ron) Cantrell of Cookeville, TN; 2 Brothers: James Carl Anderson and Clarence Anderson, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister in Law: Kathleen Smoliga of Estil Springs, TN.
