Bobby Mayberry

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Mayberry, 67, of the Freewill community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, June 26, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Byers Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Mayberry passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born September 11, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ewin and Martha Lou Mayberry. He was a heavy equipment operator and disabled bus driver. He was a former member of the Jackson County Commission, and a member of the Freewill Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother and Sister-in-Law: Glen and Judy Mayberry; and 1 Nephew: Tony Maberry. Survivors include the Mother of His Children: Doice Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Teresa (Ronnie) Goolsby of Gainesboro, TN, Lisa (Larry) Garrison of Cookeville, TN, and Vanessa (Ronnie) Martin of Bloomington Springs, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Josh Martin, Matthew Goolsby, Cody Garrison, Cayla Garrison, and Jacob Martin; 2 Brothers: Roy Maberry of Cookeville, TN, and Willard (Linda) Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN; and 3 Sisters: Lois (Claude) Maxwell of Cookeville, TN, Joyce Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN, and Linda (Curtis) Mertz of Cookeville, TN.
