Bobby Gene Wheeler

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Gene Wheeler, 66, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 P.M. - 9 P.M., Saturday from 12 Noon until 9 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Wheeler passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 9, 1943, in Detroit, MI, to the late Eddie and Doris Estelle Brown Wheeler. On October 23, 1965, he was married to Barbara Marie Wheeler, who survives. He worked in construction, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Lewis Edward Wheeler. Survivors include his Wife: Barbara Marie Wheeler of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Bobby Eugene (Jennifer Dawn) Wheeler of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Angelia Sue Buck and fianc, Scotty Tucker of Cookeville, TN, and Priscilla Wheeler (Travis) Appleby of Burksville, KY; 7 Grandchildren: Dustin Daniel Buck, Austin Eugene Wheeler, Lacy Leann Wheeler, Misty Appleby Murphy, Cody Alan Appleby, Marian Faith Appleby, and Kaylee Paige Appleby; 1 Great- Grandchild: Milas Chase Murphy; 1 Brother: Carl (Georgia) Wheeler of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister: Anna Hester (Bill) Harrison of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister-in-Law: Mary Ann Wheeler of Gainesboro, TN; and Good Friends: Kimmeth and Faye Nelson.
