Funeral services for Mr. Bobby "BR" Lynn, 68, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Chaffin Cemetery in the Roaring River community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at his residence. He was born July 24, 1947, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Albert Rogers Lynn and Offa Gwen Carter Lynn. He was a truck driver, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jason Lynn; 1 Brother: David Carter Lynn; his Paternal Grandparents: Albert and Eva Chaffin Lynn; and his Maternal Grandparents: Hobert and Avo McCoin Carter. Survivors include 2 Daughters: D'na Lynn of Gainesboro, TN, and Marlana (Bryan) Lynn-Lemmons of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Nicholas Lemmons, Ayden Dyer, and Ethyn Dyer; 1 Niece: Melanie Burd of Goodlettsville, TN; 2 Nephews: Terry Apple of McEwen, TN, and Chris Apple of New York, NY; 3 Great Nieces: Alex Burd, Ryley Burd, and Evan McClinnis; 2 Great Nephews: Logan Apple and Reed Apple; 1 Sister: Betty Lynn Apple of Madison, TN; and 1 Aunt: Molene Holt of Donelson, TN. Many cousins and friends also survive. Pastor Ron Allen and Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
