Bob Pruett

Funeral services for Bob Pruett, age 74, of Granville, Tennessee, will be held Monday, July 28, 2014, at 11 am, in the chapel of Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery in the Flynn's Lick community of Jackson County. Mr. Pruett died on Friday, July 25, 2014. Mr. & Mrs. Pruett had returned to the family farm in the Granville area, in 1998, after his retirement as Vice-President of a Houston business concern. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm until 8 pm on Saturday, July 26, and on Monday, July 28, from 9 am until time of services. There will be no visitation on Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Pruett was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ and a graduate of TTU. He had been involved in various community and church activities over the past years. Mr. Pruett was born on November 1, 1939, to the late John Frank and Nellie Harris Pruett. In 1963, he was married to Mary Camp Pruett, who survives him. He is also survived by two daughters, Vicki Pruett of Houston, Texas and Jennifer and Bob Rhea of Granville. Also surviving is his sister Frankie Fox of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, along with several nieces and nephews.
